'Relationships' by Robert Anderson Exhibit

Based in Minot, Robert Anderson is primarily a printmaker who enjoys creating monoprint or monotypes using ink and acrylic paint on a variety of papers, mostly watercolor, or rice paper. He uses foam block and hand cut stencils to create some images in his work. At times he uses texture plates, man-made found objects or organic objects picked up from the natural world to create texture and shape in his artwork. He believes texture and shape, along with color, are the most important art elements. He tells students, “Unintentional playing with the elements like color and texture can sometimes create the most interesting results.”

This exhibit will be on display in the Walter Gallery through April 29th. The Taube Museum is open Tuesday – Friday from 10:30 am – 5:30 pm and Saturday’s 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
