Well, I’ll tell you what, this little town of Minot’s got more goin’ on than a three-legged coyote at a rabbit convention. Over at Prairie Sky Breads, they’re servin’ up a jalapeno popper sandwich that’s hotter than a prairie fire in July. It’s got more cheese than a politician’s smile and enough jalapenos to make a cowboy’s spurs jingle. Now, if you’re feelin’ more like a picnic, mosey on down to Magic City Hoagies for their June special. It’s got summer sausage, chips, and all the fixins—just like we used to have back on the Lonesome Dove, ‘cept without the dust and cattle.
Now, don’t you go thinkin’ that’s all. There’s mermaids and junk mobiles for the little ones at the Taube Museum—stranger than a two-headed steer, if you ask me. And for us grown-ups, there’s trivia night at Blue Rider that’s tougher than ropin’ a wild mustang. On top of that, it’s National Moonshine Day—not that I’d know anythin’ about that, mind you. Just remember, whether you’re startin’ over or fightin’ illegal fishin’, Minot’s got somethin’ for everyone. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a veggie burger to try—never thought I’d see the day.
