Greetings, dear Minot dwellers! On this delightfully chilly Saturday, the 27th day of January, we have a veritable smorgasbord of happenings that promise to be quite the adventure. The Mouse River Players are putting on a magical and eventful performance of ‘Puffs’ that will surely enchant your senses. This is not the story of the boy wizard you’re familiar with, but a different tale from the same school of magic and mystery. The curtain rises at half-past seven, so don your finest robes and prepare for a fantastical evening.
If you prefer a more earthly adventure, why not join the Prairie Sky gang for a night of skating behind Prairie Sky Breads? From five to seven, skates are available for a mere $5 for two hours of merriment. And what could be a better companion to the crisp evening air than a cup of hot chocolate? Just remember, if the weather decides to be contrary and drops below zero or a blizzard decides to make an appearance, the event will be postponed. So, grab your mittens and scarves and join us for an evening of frosty fun.
In the spirit of National Chocolate Cake Day, perhaps a slice of decadence might be the perfect accompaniment to your evening’s activities. Or perhaps you might take a moment to remember those lost during the Holocaust Remembrance Day. Whatever your plans, dear Minot dwellers, make the most of this Saturday’s offerings.
